BODY WISE Yoga & Yin Yoga
BODY WISE Yoga offers a full being approach to your well-being, addressing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of health while stimulating your natural life force energy (prana). Through this practice, you plant new seeds within the five layers of the self (Pancha Koshas): physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Yoga creates space within the body and mind by integrating breath with movement, promoting relaxation, and releasing tension. It enhances:
Physical Space: Stretching and lengthening muscles to increase flexibility and mobility building strenght.
Mental Space: Calming the mind, reducing stress, and improving focus.
Emotional Space: Releasing stored emotions and fostering emotional resilience.
Energetic Space: Balancing and energizing your body's natural flow of prana.
Spiritual: Meditation reconnecting the connection with the soul, human spirit
Deep Listing Through Longer-Held Poses
Yin yoga specifically targets deep tissues through passive, long-held poses, affecting connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, and meridians. Fascia, which connects all systems of the body, also influences our consciousness. By holding asanas for 3-10 minutes, muscles relax, allowing access to deep yin fascial layers, increasing elasticity and resilience. Understanding your fascia is key to fostering a deeper connection with your body.
Yin yoga also improves energy flow, enhancing chi in the organs. Healthy organs and muscles are essential for overall well-being.

TRE facilitates a deep and lasting transformation by connecting physical sensations (raw feelings) with personal interpretations (emotions), fostering self-awareness and understanding of one's patterns.
By allowing the body to release habitual and unconscious tension naturally, and feeling secure, you can uncover how your body processes the natural tremor response.
Simply trust, listen to your body's wisdom, and embrace curiosity and wonder to embark on this journey.
TRE and the Nervous System
Tension Release Exercises (TRE) focus on the body's natural tremor response to help release deep-seated tension and stress.
This practice has significant effects on the nervous system and helps you to back in the body:
Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System: TRE helps shift the nervous system from the “fight or flight” mode (sympathetic) to the “rest and digest” mode (parasympathetic). This shift promotes deep relaxation and recovery and grounding.
Releases Deep-Seated Tension: By inducing natural tremors, TRE helps release accumulated tension from the muscles and nervous system, reducing stress and promoting overall balance.
Facilitates Emotional Processing: As the body releases physical tension, it can also help process and release stored emotions, leading to improved emotional regulation and mental clarity.
Enhances Resilience: Regular practice of TRE can strengthen the nervous system's ability to manage stress, enhancing overall resilience and emotional stability.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that life can get busy. To ensure space for others, I ask for your cooperation with the following policy:
Class Cancellations: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a full charge.
No Shows: If you do not attend without prior cancellation, you will be charged for the session.
